Cherry Blossoms Grove

Kimiko was resting on one of the branches of a cherry blossom tree. She popped a bubblegum and hummed to herself. She liked this place. So peaceful and quiet and, well, sometimes boring. But her location on top of the tree was perfect; not to mention it was windy. So as long as there wouldn't be a random guy popping somewhere below, then everything would be fine. Skirts weren't very friendly when you're sitting on top of a tree.

Rime came along, his earphones on as he listened to music. He came here a lot to enjoy the beauty of the grove, helping him relax and make him able to concentrate better. He went over and sat down under the tree Kimiko was in, unaware of her presence. He pulled out a sketchbook and began to make a sketch although he wasn't very artistic.

Throughout her resting and being lazy enough not to do anything, Kimiko heard footsteps approaching and she opened her eyes, spotting a guy with white hair sitting directly under the tree she was in. She frowned of the company. At least he didn't notice her, that's good enough.

Kimiko jumped from the tree she was in and landed on the ground in her rollerblades. Scooting around towards the guy, she pulled one of his earphones to get his attention.

"Excuse me, but this tree is occupied." she stated unhappily in English, though she had a little of Russian accent in there.

He looked up to her. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't notice that. I just needed somewhere to clear my head." He said as he stood up, looking at the ground once he was up. "I'm sort of new around here. Name's Rime. Rime Blaze." He said, not making eye contact, keeping his eye towards the ground. He was completely shy, unsure of what to do or say.

Great. Now the guy was being all shy and Kimiko felt like a complete bully for frightening the new guy. She sighed, running a hand through her dark blue hair. "No, it's fine. I was overreacting anyway." she grumbled. "Nice to meet you, Rime. Your family name is interesting, and I don't mean it as an insult." she said softly with a smile, hoping that would calm him down.

"I'm Kimiko." she introduced herself, popping a bubble as she scooted around him. "So, what's that?" she asked, indicating to the sketch book he was holding. She knew it was a sketch book of course, but what better way to strike a conversation in this awkward atmosphere.

He smiled a bit and looked up to her a bit. "My parents had an interesting story behind that name, but I can't quite remember it." He said with a sigh. "It's nice to meet you Kimiko, and you don't need to apologize." He said with a slightly bigger smile. He looked at the sketchbook as she asked about it. "It's my sketchbook. I'm not very good at drawing, but it helps me remember things better than I could normally could."

"Ahh." Kimiko nodded with a smile as Rime explained the reason behind his sketching. She herself was unfortunate enough to suck at any form of art. Because of that, she appreciates them genuinely and would go out of her way to see on, just like how she was viewing the scenery from up the tree.

"So if I give you something in return, would you sketch me?" She asked playfully, but halted in her tracks as she realized what she just said. That was her sounding very flirty at a guy she just met!

Kimiko scoffed lightly. "I was kidding of course." she grinned, popping another bubble.

He looked at her and laughed a bit, smiling at her. "I see. Well, if you were being serious, I would have sketched you for free." He said, as he closed his sketchbook and looking at her again. "I haven't drawn a person in a long time, so it might not turn out too well anyways." He said, sighing a bit. He remembered back to the last time he had sketched anybody, and that was the last time he had seen them.

Kimiko raised an eyebrow with an interested expression as the guy retorted he'd have drawn her for free. He wasn't that shy as she thought after all and that made her sigh in relief.

"Hmm. An artist is an artist. As long you have your inspiration, I reckon you'd do fine." Kimiko said smiling lightly. She noticed his sigh which is rather depressing compared to his small laugh a while ago.

"You are killing the trees with your aura, you know that?" Kimiko teased a little. "Lighten up. I hear an artist's work is influenced by his emotion. At this rate, my sketch will really turn out horrid."

He let out a laugh, smiling at her. "I guess you're right." He said. "Emotions are what defines just about everything. Well, if you ever have the urge of wanting to get drawn, you can always come find me. I'll still do it for free, it'd help me remember meeting you and our nice coversation." He smiled a little more at her, his sadness almost seeming as if it had disappeared.

Kimiko was now more comfortable conversing with a confident fellow. She hummed and scooted around as she took out her wallet and pulled a small picture of her. She grinned and handed it to the guy.

"You said it's free, so I'll take it for granted. Draw me well." she said enthusiastically with wink, before rolling around on her skates again and looking up.

"I love cherry blossoms."

He smiled as she handed him the picture and sat back down, opening up the sketchbook. He began to draw her, looking at the picture and making sure that he didn't miss any detail. He was in a good mood, happy that he had met his first friend in his new school.

Kimiko blinked at the silence that suddenly followed. She loved the silence, but not right after having just talked with someone. Turning around, she noticed Rime was back under a tree, sketching.

"While I do appreciate the gesture.." Kimiko skidded in front of him. "...don't tell me you're going to abandon me here, all alone?" she said with a snicker. If he just wanted to sketch, that's fine. After all, Kimiko could go back to doing nothing.

But for some reason, she wanted to get to know him better. Maybe because he was such an innocent looking guy in contrast to the often bold and flirtatious guys he met in Ouran so far.

He stopped sketching and looked back up to her. "Of course I wouldn't do that." He said, staying seated on the ground. He was halfway done with the sketch, but he was interested in talking with her right now than he was with the sketch. "Is there anything you'd like to talk about or do?" He asked her with a smile on his face.

Kimiko peeked at the sketch and her mouth fell agape to see it half done. This guy's a beast! She laughed nervously, scratching her cheek. "Uh. Nothing. Um. Don't pay attention to me. Just continue there." she said with a giggle. The reason she wanted to talk to him was because she expected it to take at least a few days or so, not in a matter of minutes. And now that it's almost done anyway, she didn't want to disturb him.

Kimiko bit her bottom lip. "Call me when you're done, kay?" she smiled and strolled away so she wouldn't be a disturbance.

He smiled and nodded, surprised at the sudden change she had. He continued on with her sketch, every once in awhile looking up from his sketchbook to make sure that she was still around. He liked her company, and enjoyed it considering that she was his first friend here. After about half an hour, he looked up from his sketchbook. "Kimiko, it's done." He said to her.

To avoid the crowd in the corridor, Yuu decided to take a stroll in the grove. He moved to a spot where no one could see him so he could practice playing his violin. But before he even started playing he heard a voice of a boy and a girl talking. "Couples these days... why can't they do it in a more private place?". Yuu then decided to move to another place but to his demise the couple were on his way. He then walked quietly to avoid any conversation with the couple but he accidentally tripped and fell.

OOC: the more the merrier. i think. hopefully Rime doesn't mind. =3

After about half an hour of strolling around and poking some squirrel she found, Kimiko heard Rime call out to her and a wide grin curved on her lips. She sped towards him and in no time was right beside him peeking at his sketchbook.

"Show me, show me." she said excitedly, sounding like a child.

Then came a loud thud that got her attention. Kimiko turned to see a guy sprawled on the floor. She raised an eyebrow and popped a bubblegum.

"Um." she smiled, containing her laughter but failed. In a few seconds, she was laughing and holding her stomach. She knew it was rude, but she just couldn't help it. The timing was too right.

"I'm really sorry about that. Hey, you okay?" she asked still giggling, glancing at Rime for a second to excuse herself so she could skate towards the guy.

OOC: (So, posting order is Rime, Yuu, and Kimiko? And I don't mind~)

He looked at her, and just as he was about to show her the picture he heard the thud as well, looking to see the boy sprawled on the floor. He smiled and chuckled a bit. He nodded to Kimiko as he got up and walked towards him slowly, his nervousness starting to get ahold of him again. "Are you...alright?" He asked quietly.

"Yes, I am alright... I just wanted to lay in this quiet place. Don't bother yourself" Yuu tries to hide embarrassment. He acted as he was just going to lie down and used his violin case as a pillow. But as he look up he saw what he shouldn't have seen... cat prints... he looked at the face of the girl and was astonished to her beauty. He blushed right then and there but he immediately looked away hiding the redness of his face. "Your boyfriend might be waiting for you." He said while without looking at the girl.

Kimiko skated towards the guy but went close, dangerously close. She immediately moved back and laughed nervously. She almost forgot she was wearing a short skirt today, and a guy lying on the ground on his back wasn't really skirt-friendly.

She blinked when he mentioned something about a boyfriend and just in time, Rime was there too. She snickered and hooked her arm around Rime's arm. "Naw. He's not my boyfriend. More like my personal artist, right?" she grinned at Rime, her eyes lowering to his sketchbook which felt so tempting to just snatch it away from him.


"So, stranger. How long do you plan on lying there?" she asked the guy.

He chuckled a bit when Yuu had mentioned him being Kimiko's boyfriend and blushed as she hooked her arm around his. He smiled a bit and nodded. "RIght, I'm more of her personal artist." He said, looking down to Yuu. He started to talk less, getting more nervous with each moment that passed.

"Oh an artist...my grandfather loves art." Yuu then looked at the girl and and saw the prints again...he wanted to answer the girl that he is not sure but seeing the prints he accidentally blurted, "As long as you are here..."while blushing."erm, I mean as long as possible. As you see that bench is occupied..." Pointing the bench where te artist is. " I always sleep on that bench at around this time.

Kimiko noticed Rime was getting shyer the more they talked to the guy, and the least she wanted was for another awkward conversation. She turned to the one at the ground and caught sight of his eyes lingering where they shouldn't be; a blush apparent on his face.

Kimiko herself turned a little red. He couldn't have seen it right?

Grabbing him by the collar, he dragged the guy up albeit struggling of his weight. There was no way she'd feel comfortable with him down there!

Kimiko cleared her throat. "Stranger, this is Rime. And I'm Kimiko. Now I don't know about you, but I've never heard of anyone lying randomly on the ground just because his bench is taken."

"And you." Turning to Rime. "Loosen up a bit. This is not a job interview..." she paused and bit her lip. "..and can I see that sketch now?" she said faintly, sounding young again.
