The Band Room

Luna had walked into the bandroom. Her fingers traced around an insterment called the guitar. The last time she had held one was back at her home in London. Why did it seem like a life time ago. With a sigh she strummed a cord before turning it back to where it sat before glacing around the room yet again. Did people practice in here or was it just for show? Luna wondered silently to herself as she walked through the large room.

Kimiko slid the band room door open and almost jumped when she saw Luna there. There weren't many people who drop by here often so she was a little surprised. Kimiko walked in and popped a bubble from her gum.

"Luna, what're you doing here?" she asked with a smile walking towards the other side of the room and looked through the array of guitars before picking a metallic-blue one.

Yuu entered the room to check if the music club room/ band room. To his surprise he saw two lovely ladies in that room. One is familiar and another was new to him. He remembered the name of the familiar one it's Kimiko, his master supposed to be (details from another thread.). "Welcome to the Music Club Band Room!" he said without smiling. "Are you members wannabe? You can fill up the form and just leave it there." He then sat down on the couch looking at the window.

Luna jumped when she heard Kimiko's voice and glanced around. What was she doing here? Looking at her, ready for the girl to suddenly do something strange to her. But all she did was pick up a guitar that she had walked away from. The blond scratched her cheek and was about to answer her when another boy that she hadn't met before came in.

What was this? The school was fairly active right about now. But that was besides the point. He was saying something about a club? "No I don't do clubs...I just came in here to get some peace and quiet...but I guess I went to the wrong place. So what are you doing here Kimiko?" she asked the other girl that she had met with Trever.

Her eye twitched when she heard a familiar voice enter the room. Oh the odds of meeting him again. Kimiko sighed and strummed the strings. It didn't make a sound since the guitar wasn't plugged to the amplifier but she could still hear how it would have sounded.

Then Yuu came up with the club thing again and Kimiko raised an eyebrow.

"Oi. Since when did the Band Room become the Music Club station?" she asked, walking to the front to plug in the guitar.

"And I come here often to play the electric guitar. Let's just say I still dream of being in a band someday." she grinned, strumming the guitar so loudly that it echoed throughout the room, obviously teasing Luna's 'peace and quiet' comment.

"Like that."

"Well as you see the band is directly under the music club." He is still shocked because the band room rarely gets visitors. "Oh wel suit yourself." Yuu sat in a way that he could rest he closed his eyes to rest more. He never had imagined to talk to mingle with them anyway.

He fell asleep on the couch. When he woke up he was surprised that the twi girls are still there. "Oh what a hassle.." he thought. He acted as if he was still asleep and tried to listen to the girls.

Her eyes narrowed at Kimiko and quickly plugged in another guitar. Sure she didn't really play one back at home but it couldn't have been that much different than the acoustic she was sending for back in London. "A band huh? That means that you have to be good at what you're doing. Can you sing as well or is that just all you can do is play the guitar?"

Luna strummed some more cords thoough the sounded much different than the ones she was expecting it didn't sound bad. But what was this about a band? And what was this guy's problem with falling asleep? "Does he sleep a lot....?" She asked her friend before turning up the volume on the amp and strumming a cord just for fun and to see if he woke up angery.

Kimiko's eyebrows shot up when Luna plugged another guitar and strummed her own. She felt a grin forming on her lips when Luna dared ask if she could only play the guitar. "Is that a challenge, Ms. Luna Ookami? I'm not very confident with my singing but I do know that my voice is perfect." she said arrogantly, joking of course.

Kimiko was playing a different piece from Luna at the same time so you could just imagine the chaos in the band room. She laughed when Luna turned the volume up.

"No, he doesn't. He's just being a chicken with girls around." she replied to her loud enough for Yuu to hear.

Yuu was observing the girls acting asleep then both were strumming like crazy lunatics. Then he heard Kimiko said, "No, he doesn't. He's just being a chicken with girls around." He stood up and shouted "I am no chicken!" blowing his act of sleeping. Yuu didn't know what to do he blushed in embarassment to the girls and quickly turned away. "What do you girls want anyway? Destroying the peace in this Band room..." he said without looking.

This was a great challange. A true rival in the music business. If only her life would ever go that way. But as the chaos filled the room and Yuu voice popped up it made Luna return to her sense and turn the music off. Glancing over at this male she cleared her voice and brushed some of her hair behind an ear. "Well it seems that someone messed up..." A sigh escaped her lips as she once again put the guitar down and acted more like how she acted with other people were around. "And if it's bothering you sir I could leave and keep this place made for music to rest in peace." Luna now was waiting for him to say something; either leave or stay.

Kimiko's eyes flashed in enthusiasm when Yuu bolted up from his sleep. She stopped playing the guitar as well to hear him better. Then she arched an eyebrow when he mentioned something about destroying the peace in the band room.

She noticed Luna had lowered her guitar and that made her frown a bit. Kimiko was still enjoying their jamming, or whatever you call that chaos they did a while ago. Looking around and spotting the microphone, Kimiko plugged it and placed it on the stand.

"Na-ah. You're not leaving." Kimiko smirked, hooking her arm around Luna's again. She knew the girl hated clingy people, or did she? Most tsunderes do, so Kimiko assumed that. But she didn't care. "Pick up your guitar and play or I will haunt you in your sleep, in the bathroom and everything in between."

"And you slave." she turned to Yuu. "Plug up the keyboard because you will be playing it. There's no such thing as 'destroying the peace' in the band room. This is the band room. Meant for wild guitars, loud drums, and screaming voices."

"Alright, let's get this started!" she declared, going out of her way because she was too ecstatic at the moment. It's not everyday that 3 people gather in the band room all at once.

"Okay! okay" he murmured. He plugged in the keyboard and made some adjustments. He then started playing as if there is no one there. He looked at the mysterious girl and said, "you there! what was your name again?" And continued playing. He then stopped and asked Kimiko, "Your Highness! What piece should we play? Since, this is your idea you should lead."

You noticed that it's better to hear the band room in a chaotic manner they are doing now than being there alone in quiet. It was the first time ever since he signed up.

Luna grumbled as Kimiko grabbed her. She was over happy...no that wasn't it either. She was just clingy and random. But still it started to annoy her as she was quickly dragged back in and more or less forced to play the guitar that she loved as much as she liked singing. Where was Kimiko going with this? But just as she figured it out all the pieces started to fall together. Was she really trying to get a band together? No she wasn't going to think like that. After all she wasn't going to do this....she was going to take over her father's business.

Her fingers ran over the strings and sighed. She missed her own very badly. But that moment of happiness was suddenly crushed when the idiot guy asked her, fairly rude as well, what her name was. Shooting daggers at Yuu the blond mumbled and just turned her back to him. She didn't need to be here...but the music was also something that was missing from her life. Switching the amp back on she mumbled her name, "Luna idiot..."

"It's true it's my idea but there's no way I'm leading. I didn't sign up for that."

Then Kimiko frowned at the two. She sighed and looked down at her guitar, strumming the strings a bit. Here she was getting ahead of herself as usual. Yuu wasn't getting along with Luna. And Luna didn't seem to be up for this whole band thing.

Oh well. Kimiko would just play to her heart's content with or without them. She tapped her foot on the ground and strummed the strings, opening the song into Paramore's Misery Business. Everyone who takes interest in bands should know this song albeit it's an outdated one.

She used her foot to slide the microphone stand to Luna, giving her the choice to sing or not.

"Luna idiot..." Luna said. "Well that ain't the proper way to call a person from a higher year from you." Yuu answered. "Well Luna enjoy your visit in the band room." Yuu played and played without him realizing that he hasn't rested last night at the groves. He even was a bit dizzy and suddenly he collapsed. He fell downfever.

Luna blinked. What was up with this guy. One second he was fine and pretending to sleep now he was passed out on the ground. That was charming. What a great kind of guy he was. Her blue eyes glanced over to Kimiko's own wondering what to do when she started to listen to the song and realized that the mic was now in front of her. What was going to happen now? There were no drums, there was now only just her and Kimiko...but in a soft tone the blond spoke into the mic. "Start the song over..." She was going to sing for the first time in a long time. The last time she did was in front of her mother and her friends. Her father hated the fact that she could sing. But that wasn't the point right now. She closed her eyes and let the song start over. All she had was the guitar to lead her, she could do it right? Yes she liked the song and heard it enough to know when to come in and out.

Kimiko stopped playing and turned to Yuu who passed out. She blinked. Then she turned to Luna next who prompted her to start the song over. She smiled and nodded. "Give me a sec."

Lowering her guitar, she walked to Yuu and picked him up, slinging his arm around her neck. "Damn slave. Why am I even doing this?" she growled as she shuffled from his weight. She carried and dropped him to the nearest couch. Dusting her hands, she sighed and went back to the instruments.

"Alright. Starting the song in 5 seconds." Kimiko said picking up her guitar, and tapped her foot on the ground for the countdown. Once it hit the mark, Kimiko strummed the opening of the song, glancing at Luna when it finally came to her part to sing.

"I'm glad that I don't have to worry about Trever doing that..." Luna mumbled as she watched Kimiko drag Yuu off to a couch. But quickly the black haired girl returned and started the count down. It was the longest moments of her life. Should she sing should she not sing? But before she could stop herself the first few lines fell out of her mouth.

"I'm in the business of misery, let's take it from the top

It's only a matter of time before we all run out...
When I thought he was mine, she caught him by the mouth.I waited eight long months

The pause came and without thinking too much about it Luna started to really get into the song. Yes she missed doing just this. The feel of singing, of the music. It was just want she was looking for.

Kimiko smiled as she listened to Luna sing. She knew all along that the girl would. Someone with passion for music wouldn't be able to resist when it's right there in front of them. Her voice was beautiful. If she just sang freely like this all the time, Kimiko knew her friend would feel even better. That's what Kimiko feels every time she plays in this room.

Yay, rock on! Kimiko chuckled to herself. It was the first time someone ever played with her like this. The absence of the drums made the song a little more mellow, but what the heck. She had an electric guitar in her hands!

Before long the song came into its end and Kimiko strung the guitar for the last time. She exhaled a little exhausted from that.

"So, how did that feel?" She grinned at Luna. "You were so into it, so don't even think of lying."

As the song finally came to an end and the last note was played Luna's blue eyes slowly opened. It was so nice to be able to sing like that again. To freely sing again. Singing...something about it managed to sooth her nerves. But Kimiko had to pull her back to reality. That was the old Luna and the new Luna was going to follow her father's business. Clearing ther throat she was going to try and make a lie, but it just didn't work like that. A sigh slipped out before she answered. "It was alright. Would have been better with drums."

She straightened up and stretched. "And even what's his face could have been a help in keeping the tempo a bit. I mean it was good we knew the song by heart but still the point of the matter was a band song should be played with a band to get the full effect that they wanted you to feel when listening to it." LHer blue eyes rested on Kimiko's with a serious yet clam look to them.

Kimiko chuckled and ran a hand through her dark blue hair. "I know. But that's a first. I only wanted to see if you will sing. We're the only two people playing here, so what do you expect? BUT, if we form a band and we've got all the instruments we need, then it would be perfect, no?"

She rubbed her shoulder and popped a bubble for a moment, then looked at Luna. "If I told you I want to form a band, will you consider being the lead vocalist?"

Lead vocalist? In a band? The thought never really entered her mind. Did she sound that good? Her mother always said she could sing, but that was beside the point. Her blue eyes glanced to the side and thought about this. The likely hood of Kimiko finding band members...na it couldn't be done any time soon could it?

"I'll think about it," Luna replied after what felt like a life time of being frozen. She didn't say no or yes, and Kimiko didn't say that she would find all the members or really start one. She just would go and try and find them as a thought. "But that's if you really find good members to play or something like that." Luna glanced down at the sleeping Yuu. "So what are you going to do with him?" she asked in a serious bored tone. "And how did he even become your slave?"

Kimiko laughed lightly when Luna gave her reply. "Is that a challenge again, Luna Ookami? Recruiting good members will be hard. But I will find them... hopefully." she chuckled.

Deep inside, she was glad Luna considered the deal. She'll worry about recruiting those members later on.

Her eyes traced towards Yuu and shrugged. "He's a decent keyboardist. I think. And I got him the same way you got Trever. Remember that I was the one who suggested that game for you two to find my iphone? You owe me for that, by the way. So Yuu suffered the same fate when he lost to one of my games. As expected."

Yuu woke up and heard them talking about how he became Kimiko's slave. He ignored their conversation and fixed himself. Being still a little dizzy he tried to stand up but to no avail, he fell to the couch. "Sorry, I'm just a little dizzy" so he laid on the couch. "I think I need some rest. You can continue what you are doing. Don't mind me." he added.
